Job Description

• Develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components for packaging film manufacturing processes.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical failures, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and electrical engineering to achieve operational targets.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for new and existing machinery.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations in all mechanical engineering activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices and new technologies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and servicing of mechanical equipment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, open-office environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
