Job Description

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity 
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting techniques.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost management tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
