Job Description

Role DescriptionTo ensure the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate stock levels, records, and safe warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities:- Receive incoming materials and goods, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and invoices.- Inspect and record the condition of received items to ensure compliance with specifications.- Organize and store materials in designated locations in an orderly and safe manner.- Record all stock transactions (receiving, issuing, returns) accurately in the inventory system.- Issue materials based on approved requests and ensure proper documentation.- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the warehouse at all times.- Monitor stock levels and notify management when items reach reorder points.- Conduct regular and annual stock counts and report discrepancies.- Ensure all stored materials are properly labeled and easy to locate.- Follow and enforce safety and security procedures for the warehouse.- Coordinate with the procurement, finance, and operations departments to support supply chain activities.- Prepare periodic inventory and movement reports.Qualifications and Experience:- High school diploma minimum (Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, or Accounting preferred).- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles in constructions sector .- Knowledge of inventory management systems (manual or electronic).- Proficient in MS Excel and inventory software (ERP systems preferred).- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
