Responsibilities

• Supervising the manufacturing process for assembly section.
• Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations.
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency.
• Responsible for providing information and support in development of long-range plans.
• Ensure that Critical Path for all travel bags/associated accessories is adhered to, to ensure factory deadlines are met.
• Ensure raw materials are ordered in line with target delivery dates where necessary.
• Assess unused raw material and formulate a plan of action with other members of the management team.
• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
• Supervising the process of efficient implementation of all policies and all procedures and processes in production management.
• Supervising the level of production efficiency and working on developing and improving it continuously, using the reports of the Quality Control Department.
• Monitor operating expenses and depreciation and work to reduce them.
• Monitors and follows-up records of production and operations, ensuring their regularity and smooth progress.
• Train, motivate and lead production team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in plastic products assembly or related field.
• Strong organizational and managerial skills.
• Knowledge about Assembly Process.
• Lean Six Sigma.
