We are Tribe X - building the future of luxury marketing.
We are Tribe X, a next-generation agency shaping the future of digital for global luxury and purpose-driven brands.
We bring strategy, creativity, and performance together under one roof — uniting brand storytelling with digital precision to drive measurable impact.
Our ideas don’t just fill feeds, they move culture. Combining global standards with regional insight, we craft work that’s intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.
Our growth is driven by bold ideas, and by the people who bring them to life.
As we scale, we’re looking for an Executive Creative Director to lead our creative vision: someone who can shape culture, scale excellence, and set a new standard for purposeful creativity in the digital era.
Purpose of the Role
As Executive Creative Director, you are the guardian of Tribe X’s creative vision, ensuring every idea we craft is intentional, culturally fluent, and built to perform across every platform.
You set a digital-first mindset, not as a channel bias, but as a way of thinking: audience-led, insight-driven, and agile. Every creative output you touch should reflect clarity, craft, and impact.
You protect the integrity of the idea from strategy to screen, aligning creative excellence with our mission: helping purpose-driven brands focus on what matters, so they can drive lasting impact.
This is a role for a creative leader who believes that purpose and performance aren’t opposites, they’re what make work timeless.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Agency’s Creative Vision
Set and uphold Tribe X’s creative standard: ideas that are simple, human, and culturally intelligent.
Ensure every brief, concept, and execution ties back to the brand’s why, no noise, only meaning.
Keep creativity aligned with the agency’s mission and clients’ long term purpose.
2. Champion a Digital First Mindset Across Mediums
Drive thinking that begins with audience behavior, not media hierarchy.
Ensure campaigns are platform native in mindset, but integrated in form seamlessly spanning film, social, print, OOH, activations, and digital ecosystems.
Push creative teams to craft ideas that adapt elegantly across touchpoints from fast content to flagship storytelling.
3. Green-Light Ideas That Work in the Real World
Chair creative gates for flagship work; approve only ideas that are original, strategically sound, and executable.
Demand clarity: every concept must define its audience, emotional hook, and measure of success before production.
Protect creativity from dilution, keep the work brave, relevant, and intentional.
4. Build Systems That Make Great Work Repeatable
Oversee a creative process that supports both craft and speed from briefing frameworks to content production flows.
Ensure teams have templates, tools, and rituals that keep quality high and execution agile.
Make learning cyclical: gather performance insights, translate them into creative standards, and evolve the playbook.
5. Lead and Grow Creative Talent
Hire and mentor creative leaders who think beyond format writers, art directors, strategists, and motion specialists who share a digital first mindset.
Review work on time, coach judgment and taste, and rotate senior talent between Brand Platforms and Campaigns & Content to strengthen range.
Build a culture that values curiosity, experimentation, and clarity of thought.
6. Place the Right Bets
Prioritize the ideas that build brand and drive business balancing storytelling and performance.
Allocate top talent to the right opportunities, make fast calls on hero projects, and remove barriers that slow creativity.
Represent the creative vision with clients, articulate ideas simply, powerfully, and with purpose.
What Teams Can Expect From You
A living creative standard that defines how Tribe X creates for today’s world.
Clear, constructive creative calls advance / refine / stop with reasoning that teaches.
A creative system that runs on both intuition and discipline.
A feedback culture that turns learnings into evolution, not repetition.
Leadership that is decisive, present, and deeply collaborative.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
12+ years leading creative teams across digital, film, print, social, and experiential.
Proven success crafting campaigns for luxury or purpose-driven global brands.
Deep understanding of audience behavior, culture, and the intersection of brand storytelling with digital performance.
Ability to move seamlessly from big brand worlds to fast content ecosystems.
Strong creative judgment can tell when an idea will live, perform, and last.
Track record of mentoring senior creatives into confident, autonomous leaders.
Nice to Have:
Experience building creative systems or internal studios for brands or agencies.
Familiarity with market nuances across MENA, especially Gulf audiences.
Comfortable interpreting data and insights to refine creative direction.
