About the Role

We are seeking a Plastic Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring high product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably in Extrusion and Thermoforming processes, with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and control daily production activities to achieve operational targets efficiently and effectively.

· Analyze downtime and scrap causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

· Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance process performance and reduce waste.

· Prepare accurate and timely production reports and performance summaries.

· Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure stable and efficient production operations.

· Collect and analyze production data to support decision-making and process optimization.

· Lead and motivate production teams through a people-oriented and cooperative approach.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Materials, or related field).

· 2–3 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably in Extrusion or Thermoforming.

· Strong ability to make decisions, perform logical analysis, and solve problems effectively.

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prepare reports and gather information accurately.

· Proactive, self-driven, and capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.

· Certified Lean Green Belt with proven participation in improvement projects.

· Strong communication and leadership skills with a people-oriented mindset.

· Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production reporting tools.
