🏗️ Job Opportunity: Estimating Engineer – General Contracting

📍 Location: Nasser City – Cairo Egypt -Head office.

Job Purpose:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for construction projects by analyzing tender documents, identifying project requirements, and coordinating with internal departments and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual conditions.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and analyze project scope.
• Estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations teams to gather pricing and technical data.
• Prepare and compile commercial and technical proposal packages.
• Conduct market analysis and maintain an updated cost database.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze and optimize costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Support management during negotiations and contract finalization.
• Participate in value engineering and risk analysis as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 3–10 years of experience in cost estimation or tendering in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with local and international tender procedures is a plus.
