𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲: Full-Time

We are hiring on behalf of a leading African renewable energy provider specializing in solar and battery energy storage (BESS) solutions. The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of large Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar and BESS projects—from planning and construction to commissioning and handover.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Lead and oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of large-scale solar and BESS projects.

• Manage all project phases: planning, design coordination, construction, testing, and commissioning.

• Supervise and mentor project engineers to ensure high-quality execution.

• Develop and train project teams to deliver complex solar and storage installations.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.

• Conduct site audits to verify compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.

• Serve as the main client contact, maintaining transparent and professional communication.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes.

• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, and company standards.

• Prepare and present progress and performance reports to management and clients.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in construction, commissioning, and testing of large rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects (C&I sector).

• Strong understanding of Solar + BESS + Diesel/Gas hybrid systems and MV/LV distribution network design.

• Proven experience with grid-interactive and off-grid systems, SCADA, and metering integration.

• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

• Experience with generator systems.

• Valid HSE certification is required.
