To manage, supervise, and execute all road construction activities on-site including earthworks, subgrade, base layers, asphalt paving, and associated works (curbstones, road markings, drainage, etc.) in accordance with project specifications, standards, and schedule. The Road Engineer ensures work quality, safety, and progress while coordinating with the technical office and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily road construction activities including excavation, grading, sub-base, base course, asphalt paving, and finishing works.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor the use of materials and equipment on-site.
• Inspect and approve each road layer (compaction, thickness, material type) before proceeding to the next.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering .
• 3–7 years of experience in road/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with international standards (AASHTO, ASTM, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (optional), MS Office, and project management tools
