• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/occupational health & safety / environmental engineering
• Relevant international EHS certifications.
• Minimum 10–15 years with railway experience .
• Previous experience of working with international banks is required. Preferably, these include the IFC, EBRD and AfDB.
• Experience with: Safety Management Systems (SMS) for rail projects, Construction & installation HSE management, Commissioning, and testing phase safety protocols, Emergency response & security management.
• Ability to develop and implement EHSS plans, audits, and incident investigations.
• Leadership and communication skills for managing multi-national teams and subcontractors
• Good command of English (spoken & written).
• Previous experience of working in PMC/EPCM roles or in a multinational joint venture is essential.
