Role Objective

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities as an independent consultant.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Achieve sales targets and drive company growth through strategic business planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads via networking, cold outreach, and digital channels.
  • Maintain effective client and partner relationships.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve set sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Track and report on business development metrics and pipeline.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Manage your own schedule, ensuring project deadlines and goals are consistently met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (advantageous).
  • 3+ years of proven experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, CRM tools, and presentation software.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning ability.

Contract Terms

  • Freelance/commission-based payment structure.
  • Flexible hours—work remotely.
  • May lead to retainer or full-time opportunity if KPIs are met.

  • I will prepare a visual, pictographic PDF JD with company logo, icons, and diagrams for memory retention.
  • Canva template for easy JD customization and sharing.
  • Notion dashboard template to track leads, sales targets, follow-ups, and KPIs, with visuals and reminders.
  • you will be able to use the dashboard for daily/weekly check-ins, tracking progress and deadlines.
  • Action Plan Timeline and daily check-in reminders will be set up to ensure follow-through.
