The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

  • Designing printed advertising materials such as brochures, catalogs, flyers, banners, business cards, invoices, corporate identities, and billboards.
  • Preparing technical files for printing and ensuring their accuracy in terms of dimensions, colors, and file types (CMYK, Bleed, Resolution).
  • Developing designs for printing clients or agencies to meet their requirements and brand standards.
  • Collaborating with the production team and printing technicians to guarantee the quality of the final product.
  • Modifying or updating designs based on client feedback or printing requirements.
  • Generating innovative and creative ideas for advertising materials to attract customers and enhance brand image.
  • Managing and organizing the archive of completed designs and projects to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Adhering strictly to project delivery deadlines within the agreed timeframe.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest printing market trends and design methods to improve the quality of work.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 2-4 years experience in graphic design within a print publication or advertising agency
  • Proficiency in the following design and printing software:

-Adobe Photoshop – for image editing and manipulation.

-Adobe Illustrator – for logo and vector graphics design.

-Adobe InDesign – for catalogs, brochures, and multi-page printed materials.

-CorelDraw – an added advantage for designing commercial print files.

-Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Preflight Tools for adjusting print files before delivery.

-Knowledge of CMYK color systems for printing and artwork production specifications.
