Job Description

Platoon Design Group is looking for a highly organized and technically strong Site Architect to oversee and manage the architectural execution of our projects on site.
The ideal candidate will ensure that construction works strictly follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. You will act as the key link between the design office and the site team, ensuring flawless coordination and high-quality delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise architectural work on site and ensure full compliance with approved drawings and technical specs.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples before execution.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, subcontractors, and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports, and flag deviations or defects.
• Ensure quality control across all architectural finishes, materials, and detailing.
• Communicate with design office regarding RFIs, design updates, and construction challenges.
• Assist project managers in monitoring timelines, work sequences, and site logistics.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and site regulations.
• Participate in handing-over stages, snag lists, and final inspections.

Job Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 5–10 years of solid experience as a Site Architect in construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
• Excellent command of technical shop drawings and their coordination with MEP and structural works.
• Proficiency in: (AutoCAD - Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication and site supervision skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and make technical decisions under pressure.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential compounds, commercial buildings, or high-end fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles and site planning.
• Prior experience working directly with contractors and suppliers.
• Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient construction practices.
