Job Description

• We are hiring a talented Quality Control Engineer with strong hands-on experience in steel fabrication, welding inspection, and metal structures. 
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, monitoring production processes, and verifying compliance with international quality standards
• Conduct inspection of steel structures, metal fabrication processes, and welding activities.
• Review and approve raw materials, Mill Test Certificates (MTC), and supplier documentation.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor welding procedures (WPS / PQR / WPQ) and report any deviations.
• Prepare detailed quality reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and maintain QC documentation.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and finishing quality according to engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with the production, fabrication, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to international quality and safety standards (ISO / AWS / ASME).
• Assist in continuous improvement and process optimization.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of solid experience in steel fabrication or metal structure QC (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, steel grades, fabrication methods, and QC tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (2D/3D).
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Preferably certified in Welding Inspection (CWI / CSWIP) — not mandatory but a plus.
