Job Description

Job Summary:
Pioneer Tours is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee fleet operations and manage teams. The role focuses on improving monthly performance, minimizing operational issues and incidents, increasing business volume, and ensuring consistent service quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the transportation division, ensuring efficient scheduling and dispatch of vehicles.
  • Improve and stabilize monthly operational performance.
  • Minimize incidents and operational issues.
  • Manage and optimize fleet utilization, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation costs, preparing reports and recommending cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate transportation staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international transportation regulations.
  • Support business growth and identify new operational opportunities.
  • Control operational costs and reduce losses.
  • Lead and manage operational teams effectively.
  • Prepare regular performance and improvement report
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing fleet operations and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills at a mid-level career stage.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using transportation management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
