Overview

This role is for an SEO Outreach and Backlinking Specialist to support a dynamic software company serving the nonprofit sector. The specialist will drive organic growth, enhance digital visibility, and execute strategic link-building campaigns across three nonprofit-focused websites. This position is ideal for an SEO professional with strong outreach expertise and a passion for helping nonprofits maximize their impact.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: USD 10

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, around 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM MST (US business hours)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidate must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and may depend on performance during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Execute targeted SEO outreach campaigns to secure high-quality backlinks across three nonprofit software websites
• Develop and implement comprehensive backlinking strategies tailored to the nonprofit technology sector
• Conduct professional outreach to website owners, bloggers, and industry publications to establish valuable link partnerships
• Analyze website performance metrics and track the effectiveness of backlinking initiatives using industry-standard SEO tools
• Research and identify strategic link-building opportunities within the nonprofit software and related industries
• Manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail

Requirements

• 2–5 years of proven experience in SEO and strategic link building
• Strong foundation in search engine optimization principles, including keyword research and competitive analysis
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective backlinking strategies
• Proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms for performance tracking and reporting
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to measure, interpret, and report backlink performance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective outreach
• High attention to detail with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Experience working in B2B software or nonprofit sectors is highly preferred
