Job Summary

The Fire Safety and Fire Protection Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supervising fire safety and fire protection systems, ensuring full compliance with locally and internationally approved regulations and standards, with the objective of protecting lives and property and minimizing fire risks in facilities and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and fire-fighting systems.

• Ensure full compliance with approved fire safety codes and standards such as NFPA, SBC, or equivalent.

• Conduct fire risk assessments for buildings and facilities.

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire safety and fire protection systems.

• Prepare technical reports, emergency response plans, and evacuation plans.

• Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders, including Civil Defense, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety and Fire Protection Engineering.

• Certification and official approval from Civil Defense.
