Job Description
The Stock Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records through the company system to ensure effective stock control and availability for operations.
The Stock Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records through the company system to ensure effective stock control and availability for operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect materials and match them with delivery notes and purchase orders
Record all stock movements using the approved inventory system
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of items
Issue materials only against approved requests and update the system accordingly
Maintain accurate, real-time stock balances in the system
Perform regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages through the system and to management
Generate inventory reports from the system when required
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams

Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Stock Keeper or Storekeeper
Strong ability to use inventory systems / ERP software
Good computer skills (Excel and stock management systems)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
