Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Participating in one or more of the following tasks related to the conceptual design, studies, and proposals as instructed and guided by the senior staff and section head / manager.
  • Preparation of utility Plans, profiles, Composites and details drawings in addition to reports like design criteria, calculations and BOQ for pressurized and gravity systems using BIM/CAD.
  • Use Civil 3D to design plans and profiles of utilities, including using and creating pipe networks, editing and changing parts and styles.
  • Use Civil 3D to create new styles, add pipe catalogs and build new parts and structures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Creates the 3D coordinated modelling and prepares clash detection report for all underground utilities.
  • Reviews technical documentation from third parties against agreed specifications while providing feedback for review by senior staff.
  • Coordinates assigned work with other technical personnel as directed.



Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in civil from well reputable Universities.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Wet utilities networks design.
  • Familiar with local infrastructure standards and codes. Familiarity with British and Saudi standards is preferable.
  • To plan, design and review the wet utilities work including potable water, storm drainage, sanitary water, industrial wastewater, process water, irrigation water and fire water networks.
  • Experienced in creating new styles, adding pipe catalogs and building new parts and structures in Civil 3D.
  • To design all the services structures such as storage tanks, outfalls, lift stations, storm channels and ponds.
  • Create the hydraulic models required to design all the utility systems using SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS.
  • Knowledge of Delivering CAD/ BIM work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of design consideration of catch basins, manholes spacing and fire hydrant arrangement.
  • Knowledge of InfraWizard and Civil 3D in creating the longitudinal profiles.
  • Knowledge of different storm drainage systems like surface drainage and Channel drainage systems is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Bentley flow master and hummer is preferable.
  • Understand different type of networks Layout Deliverables (Composite Drawings, Network alignment Drawings, profile drawings, details drawings, etc.).
