Job Purpose:

To support the daily operations of the finance, accounting, and administration functions by performing data entry, financial recordkeeping, vendor and client follow-up, and assisting with reporting tasks. The role is designed for a fresh graduate eager to develop a career in accounting and finance within a growing HSE consultancy environment.


Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:

  • Record daily financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments) into the accounting system.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and petty cash reports.
  • Follow up on collections with clients and notify overdue accounts.
  • Support in preparing VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
  • Archive all financial records and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  • Coordinate with external accountants or auditors when needed.

Finance Support Tasks:

  • Assist in tracking cash flow and preparing simple forecasts.
  • Update internal project-level cost tracking sheets.
  • Provide support in budget preparation and monitoring actual vs. planned costs.
  • Prepare basic profitability reports under the guidance of the Admin Lead or Finance Manager.

Administrative Support:

  • Support the Admin Lead with procurement documentation (quotations, POs, receipts).
  • Help maintain the asset register (e.g. laptops, VR equipment, etc.).
  • Organize and update employee payment and consultant fee trackers.
  • Assist in HR-related financial tasks, including payroll support and attendance-linked calculations.
  • Handle basic office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 1 to 3 years years experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Odoo,Zoho).
  • Good command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
