JOB PURPOSE

Payments Business Manager is responsible for developing and executing the digital payments roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic goals. This includes conducting market research, collaborating with stakeholders, and advocating for a seamless user experience. Additionally, the role focuses on availing diversified digital channels to the customers, performance monitoring, regulatory compliance, and alignment with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product initiatives.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of local & international payment regulations & compliance requirements.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities to drive innovation in payment services.
  • Minimum 5 years in product management or digital product role within the financial services, payments, or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels technologies, industry regulations, and user-centered design principles.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Product Strategy: Develop & execute the digital channels roadmap serving the payments ecosystem, aligning with the bank’s overall strategic goals.

Market Analysis: Conduct regular/ ad hoc market research & competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful products’ development & launch.

User Experience: Advocate for the customer by ensuring that digital products provide a seamless & intuitive experience.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze products/ services performance metrics & customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital channels’ products comply with applicable regulations & industry standards.

Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of product initiatives, managing timelines, resources & budgets.
