Job Purpose

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for proactively generating and qualifying outbound leads, initiating first contact with prospective clients, and booking high quality demo meetings for the Business Development Consultants (BDC). This role is heavily focused on outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and pipeline creation through a consultative, data driven sales approach.

The SDR plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying decision makers, uncovering business pain points, and ensuring only qualified opportunities to progress to the sales stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and generate outbound leads through cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting channels
  • Execute targeted outbound outreach to defined ICPs and accounts
  • Qualify prospects based on fit, urgency, budget, and complexity
  • Run first-stage discovery and scoping conversations
  • Book demo meetings and keep follow-ups tight and professional
  • Maintain a clean CRM with accurate notes, stages, and next steps
  • Move deals forward consistently — or disqualify quickly when it’s not a fit
  • Coordinate internally to ensure clean handover once a client sign
  • Flag patterns in objections, drop-offs, and recurring deal friction
  • Identify and engage key decision makers such as founders, finance managers, and CFOs


What We’re Looking For


  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account executive roles (2–4 years ideal)
  • Strong experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
  • Comfortable speaking with founders and senior operators
  • Comfortable doing outbound properly (targeted, not spam)
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication, listening, and persuasion skills
  • Confidence handling objections and initiating conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple prospects simultaneously

  • Number of qualified outbound leads generated
  • Quality and conversion rate of scheduled demos
  • Pipeline value created for the BDC team
