We are looking for a detail-oriented estimating & cost engineer to join our architectural

design team. You will be creating detailed take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ) utilizing

Planswift, Onscreen takeoff, or Bluebeam, incorporating exact measurements and best

practices.

To be successful as an estimating & cost manager, you should possess solid knowledge of

reading & understanding blueprints & architectural drawing sets, and the ability to

apply the fundamentals of construction and design with best millwork practices. A top-

notch estimating & cost engineer will be someone whose expertise includes a construction and millwork background.

Key Responsibilities

· Creating detailed technical millwork take-offs and proposals following the standard American Woodworking Institute & best practices from architects’ & designers’ sketches & specifications.

· Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.

· Collaborating with architects and production managers to ensure adherence to best pricing standards and industry regulations.

· Apply material specifications and collect material quotes from vendors and suppliers to create budgets & proposals.

· Develops bids for architectural millwork projects.

· Maintain robust time management practices to meet all deadlines and at best quality.

· Maintain robust communications in English with internal and external teams.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

· Prior experience in architectural estimating & cost management, preferably in interior or millwork application.

· High level of proficiency with the latest Architectural standards

· Ability to effectively work independently and remotely as well as in a group setting.

· Fluent in written and verbal English with a high level of conversational skills.

· Ability to effectively use the Imperial measurement system.
