Role and Responsibilities:
- Building Email Communications and Landing Pages
- Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver high-quality email communications that align with campaign goals. Proactively identify gaps and recommend solutions to improve performance
- Develop and maintain functional email templates optimized for responsive, mobile-friendly, and dark mode-friendly email experiences, while adhering to brand guidelines
- Optimizing Emails and Conducting Quality Assurance
- Implement A/B testing to optimize email engagement and performance
- Conduct quality assurance and testing for emails to ensure proper rendering across devices and email clients, maintain brand consistency, and minimize spam scores by adhering to deliverability best practices
- Troubleshoot technical issues with ESP service representatives and internal stakeholders related to tracking, implementation, and deployment of campaigns
- Developing Marketo Programs and Smart Campaigns
- Collaborate with Europe Marketing Operations, Communications and Europe country marketing teams to develop and execute automation strategies across customer journeys, contact management, segmentation, and success measurement
- Build and manage workflows in Marketo for key initiatives such as trade shows and webinars—including email invitations, reminders, landing pages, and forms
- Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize automation processes, improve audience targeting, and recommend enhancements to existing workflows
- Establish scalable business processes and governance standards for managing Marketo, including folder structures and support for a regionalized model
- Ensure all marketing processes comply with local legal and regulatory requirements by partnering closely with regulatory and data privacy teams
- Provide strategic guidance on content, behavioral triggers, lead scoring, segmentation, and performance reporting to ensure effective campaign execution
- Measure and report on marketing program performance using both qualitative and quantitative data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Web, Creative, Social, and Publishing teams to align on data quality, content delivery, and performance tracking across channels
- Over 10 years of digital marketing experience within a B2B enterprise marketing team, with at least 5 years focused on email marketing and marketing automation management, including building emails, landing pages, and automation programs
- Hands-on experience with Marketo required; current Marketo Engage Business Practitioner certification is preferred
- Advanced frontend HTML and CSS experience, including:
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code from scratch, or adapting existing code to meet business requirements
- Implementing advanced coding practices, such as media queries and conditional formatting
- Proficient in using Dreamweaver or a similar code editing program
- Strong understanding of user interface design/UI/UX principles
- Skilled in developing and editing responsive email templates in HTML or through CMS systems
- Experience in building landing pages from layered Photoshop Document (PSD) and Figma files
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma, to take designs from Photoshop and build them into a responsive email
- Advanced image editing skills for cropping, optimizing, and modifying assets for email and web use
- Proven ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization and drive alignment across global and regional cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle
- Well-versed in data standardization and normalization
- Meticulous attention to detail in both content and process execution
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and commitment to follow-through
- Fluent in English, French and/or German required
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, including the ability to travel overseas
