Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop products and end-to-end processes that abide with Shariaa
  • Research and understand the Islamic segments’ needs and preferences based on customers and market insights
  • Regularly track and report on the overall performance of the Islamic segment portfolio in terms of NTB, portfolio size, OPI, product penetration, product KPIs, and acquisition results
  • Identify innovative opportunities that will improve customer experience and drive portfolio growth
  • Develop and execute the annual segment strategic initiatives and marketing plan
  • Direct the sales and distribution channels to achieve the budgeted business growth
  • Conduct and arrange for training of Islamic branches on segment related propositions, product benefits and policy programs
  • Run customer-oriented promotions to drive acquisitions / spend / utilization in line with business objectives
  • Manage the front liners scorecard in accordance with bank’s strategy
  • Manage portfolio efficiency in terms of concentration risk, cost of funds, product mix and OPI
  • Monitor the mystery shoppers report results and all other market surveys conducted and devise plans of action to continuously enhance segment performance and customer experience
  • Lead the review and analysis of the existing customer portfolio to identify utilization and cross sell opportunities
  • Drive initiatives and campaigns to uplift products’ penetration rate
  • Drive pricing decisions for the Islamic segment and products to optimize profitability


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 Years of relevant banking experience
  • Strong inter-personal, marketing and leadership capabilities
  • Strong initiative and follow-through skills
  • Deep understanding of Islamic Banking principles and previous experience in Sharia
  • Bachelor degree with preferred post graduate degree in relevant field
