Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager for Truck and Bus is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on driving sales and enhancing customer relationships in the commercial vehicle sector. This position requires a dynamic individual who can support the sales team in achieving targets while also ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the truck and bus market, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  3. Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
  4. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  5. Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the truck and bus sector.
  6. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  7. Provide training and support to junior sales staff to enhance their performance.
  8. Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company's products.
  9. Analyze sales data to forecast future sales and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong background in sales, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
  7. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  10. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
