Responsibilities

• Designs and develops fire protection and life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke control, emergency lighting, and evacuation systems.
• Ensures compliance with local, national, and international fire safety codes, regulations, and standards in all projects.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate fire life safety systems into the overall building design.
• Conducts fire risk assessments and hazard analyses to determine appropriate safety measures and fire protection strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in fire protection and life safety engineering
• Professional certification or licensure (e.g., PE, CFPS) preferred

Skills

• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, life safety codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in fire safety design software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM) and MS Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to conduct fire risk assessments and develop fire safety strategies
