Job Description
- Lead and manage the cost control team, providing guidance and support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cost control policies and procedures.
- Monitor overall project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple projects.
- Review project estimates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to optimize costs.
- Approve contractor payments, variations, and change orders in line with contracts.
- Provide strategic advice on cost optimization, value engineering, and financial planning.
- Conduct post-project cost analysis and lessons learned reviews.
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cost control and financial management in construction projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, or other cost control software.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
