Job description:

We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Intern to join our dynamic HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) team at Lipton Teas & Infusions. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in field sales, market analysis, and lead generation within the foodservice channel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Scanning: Conduct on-ground visits to cafés and restaurants to gather market intelligence and identify potential leads.

  • Lead Generation: Build a strong customer pipeline by identifying and profiling new outlets in target locations.

  • Database Creation: Maintain and update a lead tracking sheet with key information such as outlet name, location, contact details, and size.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the sales team to share qualified leads for conversion and follow-up.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports summarizing scanned areas, number of leads generated, and potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interest in sales, market research, and the hospitality/FMCG sector

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable with fieldwork and talking to new people (restaurants, cafés, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Bonus Points For:

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or internships in FMCG or foodservice

  • Knowledge of the local HORECA landscape

  • Valid driver's license or familiarity with navigating different neighborhoods (if applicable)
