Job Purpose: Responsible for driving revenue and growth in the freight forwarding industry, securing new clients, growing existing accounts, and understanding market needs


Key Accountabilities:

Business Development:

  • Prospect new clients through various channels like cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
  • Meet clients face-to-face to build relationships and gain business.
  • Monitor and manage existing client accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and present proposals that outline your company's services and pricing to potential clients, negotiating rates and closing deals with new clients.
  • Convert potential clients into actual customers.

Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Understand clients' specific shipping needs and recommend tailored logistics solutions.
  • Effectively utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.

Sales & Market Knowledge:

  • Keep up to date on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity in the freight forwarding market.
  • Research and understand the specific needs of different services provided by the company
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall sales strategy.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, sales volume, and customer acquisition costs.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations, considering all relevant costs and pricing strategies.
  • Actively monitoring Overage Outstanding and ensuring strict compliance with credit terms.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferable Logistics field or equivalent)
  • 3:5 years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding operations, regulations, and documentation.
  • Logistics and FFW background- Carrier’s route and services
  • Strong Sales techniques and deep expertise in FFW.
  • V. Good English Language skills

  • V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
