Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company’s objectives and client requirements, ensuring adherence to international standards and guidelines.
- Lead the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions.
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Review and approve detailed design documents, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Create and develop architectural concepts, designs, and plans.
- Ensure the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes in all projects when applicable.
- Work closely with other departments, including engineering, project management, and construction, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among internal project stakeholders, including designers, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor design team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for professional growth.
- Identify potential risks related to design activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support business development activities by providing technical expertise for internal initiatives and proposals.
- Develop proposals and cost estimates for new projects.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, performance, and risks for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving design efficiency and project outcomes.
