Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the apparel factory to ensure efficient workflow and production targets are met.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of production line supervisors and staff across all garment categories.
  • Implement and monitor quality control standards to maintain high product quality and consistency.
  • Develop and optimize production schedules to maximize output and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and logistics teams to align production with business objectives.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and train factory personnel to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain delivery timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 15 years in apparel/garments manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (Factory Manager / Operations Manager).
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing).
  • Proven experience in leading Production Managers and Cutting Managers.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and buyer compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in production planning, KPIs, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage large teams and foster a culture of accountability and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
