Operational Technology Manager

Job Description
Job holder shall oversee all technology used in the plant's production process, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. This includes managing and securing the control systems for kilns, grinding mills, and automation systems that move materials. They ensure these systems are reliable, efficient, and safe, while also implementing robust security measures to protect against cyberattacks and data breaches. The OT Manager works to integrate new technologies to optimize production, reduce environmental impact, and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of operational data. This role requires a strong understanding of both cement manufacturing processes and industrial automation technologies, along with expertise in OT cybersecurity best practices and frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
Develop and implement the Plant OT strategy in line with corporate guidance: Align OT with business goals, identify technology needs, and create a roadmap for implementation.
Oversee OT budget and resource allocation: Manage finances effectively to support projects and operations.
Drive innovation and digital transformation: implement PoT technologies to improve efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
Lead and mentor the OT plant teams: Build a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and development.
Educate and advise plant management on OT related risks and opportunities
Operational Management:
Oversee the operation and maintenance of OT systems in their plant(s): Ensure systems are running smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures: Protect OT systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities trough MCS and other IT/OT Convergence controls
Manage relationships with local vendors and integrators
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations: adhere to safety, security, and environmental regulations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with other departments: Work with Maintenance, production/process, quality controls, IT, PM&E, and others to ensure alignment and integration of systems.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders: Keep leadership, employees, and other stakeholders informed about OT initiatives and performance.
