Job Highlights

• Paid Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid break | Central Time
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope of work documents for projects in bidding
• Cost analysis of materials and labor estimates in an organized manner
• Projects may be machinery and components or Construction related
• Outreach to known vendors for component and material costing
• Team communication for determining project time
• Develop standardized costing and pricing tools in bidding

Requirements

• Basic experience with 3d modeling (Fusion or Solidworks)
• MUST HAVE a background in metalworking, forming, or machining.
• Excellent written English language skill preferred
• High level of competency in a related technical field
• Technical competence to understand project drawings and specifications
• Ability to collaborate with design and sales to breakdown project tasks and estimate expenses
• High level user skills in MS word and Excel
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu
