Ports Operations Manager
Location: Alexandria, Egypt
Industry: Marine, Logistics & Port Operations
We are seeking a highly capable Ports Operations Manager to lead and optimize our port activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across all functions. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in container terminals, vessel operations, port logistics, and equipment management.
Key Responsibilities
Vessel Operations
Oversee vessel loading and discharge operations with a strong focus on efficiency and turnaround time.
Ensure accurate planning, berthing coordination, stowage control, and compliance with shipping line requirements.
Warehousing & Storage
Manage warehousing and cargo storage activities, ensuring optimal space usage and operational flow.
Supervise inventory control, cargo handling procedures, and warehouse performance.
Asset Management (Equipment)
Oversee port equipment availability, performance, preventive maintenance, and reliability.
Coordinate with the engineering/maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness.
Technical Office Leadership
Manage the Technical Office including planning, reporting, and operational analysis.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, SOP development, and process optimization.
Safety Leadership
Champion safety standards and operational compliance across all port functions.
Ensure implementation of HSE policies, risk assessments, and safe operating procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in port operations, container terminals, or marine logistics.
Strong knowledge of vessel operations, yard logistics, equipment management, and safety systems.
Proven leadership, analytical and communication skills.
