Job Description
- 1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Oversee daily mechanical work activities on site (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, gas networks, pump rooms).
- Ensure all installations follow approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate work between contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, architecture).
- Inspect installations and ensure proper execution before closing up works (MEP inspections).
- 2. Technical & Engineering Duties
- Review mechanical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Verify quantities and ensure correct materials are delivered and used on site.
- Conduct heat load calculations (for HVAC) and ensure correct selection of equipment.
- Support testing & commissioning of all mechanical systems.
- 3. Coordination & Communication
- Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders (consultants, contractors, clients).
- Follow up on MEP progress versus schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement for materials, suppliers, and equipment delivery.
- 4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports.
- Document inspections, tests, and commissioning reports.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in site works, preferably in real estate or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, and mechanical services.
- Familiarity with mechanical codes and standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
