Job Description

• Role Overview
• The AV Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, testing, and supporting end-to-end Audio-Visual solutions across corporate and enterprise environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with AV hardware, control systems, structured cabling, and site execution, as well as the ability to coordinate with project managers and clients.
•  Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and commission a wide range of AV systems (video conferencing, displays, audio systems, control processors, switching/distribution, etc.)
• Conduct site surveys, prepare material lists, and support BOQ validation
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks
• Assist in programming or configuration of control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or similar)
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
• Produce technical reports, as-built documentation, and handover packages
• Provide on-site and remote technical support as required
• Ensure adherence to installation standards and health & safety guidelines

Job Requirements

 

• Required Qualifications & Experience
• Hands-on experience in AV installation, commissioning, or support
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment from major vendors (Logitech, Cisco, Biamp, Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Samsung, NEC, etc.)
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, switching)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules
• Experience working on corporate boardrooms, training rooms, command centers, or similar environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a high level of technical discipline
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Certification(s) such as Q-SYS, Crestron, or Cisco are needed
