Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Jira Software and Jira Service Management at an advanced level.

• Design and maintain workflows, screens, fields, permission schemes, notification schemes, and issue types.

• Develop and maintain automation rules to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

• Configure dashboards, filters, reports, and boards for different teams.

• Integrate Jira with other systems using APIs, webhooks, and approved add-ons.

• Manage Jira add-ons and marketplace applications (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation tools).

• Maintain system stability, performance, and security in line with best practices.

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide root-cause analysis with permanent solutions.

• Ensure proper data structures, naming conventions, and governance standards are enforced.

• Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and integration points.

• Provide training and guidance to teams to ensure efficient use of Jira.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and propose enhancements to optimize Jira usage.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

. 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator / Jira Expert.

• Strong knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).

• Proven experience designing and optimizing Jira workflows and automation.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and API-based connectivity.

• Experience managing user permissions, schemes, roles, and global configurations.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Jira solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and documentation discipline.
