Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
  • Coordinate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all stages of manufacturing.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify adherence to quality specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to quality management systems, including ISO and HACCP certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management, recommending strategies for ongoing quality enhancement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of food quality management.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years experience as Manager in quality control within the food industry.
  • Proven track record in managing quality control teams and implementing quality management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, and related certifications.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
