Role Overview

The Dispatcher Intern supports the daily operations of aDispatcher by assisting senior dispatchers in managing bookings, coordinating trips, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, chauffeurs, and internal teams. This role is designed for students or fresh graduates seeking hands-on exposure to real-time transportation operations serving US-based limousine clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

Assist in creating, updating, and monitoring reservations

Support trip scheduling and chauffeur coordination

Help verify trip details (pickup time, location, vehicle type)

Update trip notes and system records accurately

System & Tools

Learn and assist with dispatch software (e.g., reservation & scheduling systems)

Support sending confirmations, updates, and cancellations

Assist in maintaining accurate client, driver, and vehicle information

Communication

Support inbound and outbound calls under supervision

Assist with basic client inquiries via phone and email

Escalate urgent or complex issues to senior dispatchers

Quality & Compliance

Follow internal SOPs and dispatch protocols

Learn and apply SLAs (response time standards)

Maintain confidentiality of client and trip information
