Job Description:

We are hiring a Medical Laboratory Chemist in New Cairo whose primary responsibility is patient interaction and sample collection across all age groups. The role focuses on professional phlebotomy, safe handling of samples, and performing essential laboratory and microbiology tests while ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact directly with patients of all age groups in a professional, reassuring manner

- Collect blood and other biological samples accurately and safely (phlebotomy)

- Perform microbiology tests including urine, stool, and semen analysis

- Properly label, prepare, store, and transport samples according to laboratory protocols

- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment

- Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards

- Accurately document and report laboratory results

- Perform home sample collection visits when required (preferred)

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a medical laboratory

- Solid experience in microbiology testing (urine, stool, semen)

- Willingness to conduct home visits; owning a car is an advantage

- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
