Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze initial business data requirements received through formal intake channels to assess relevance, feasibility, and data availability.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the Data & Analytics department.
• Conduct structured requirement gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and data mapping documents.
• Define KPI calculations, business rules, and validation logic in alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
• Prioritize data requests based on business impact, urgency, and resource capacity.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, milestones, timelines, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate development activities across Data Engineering, BI Development, and Advanced Analytics teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data models, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.
• Monitor project execution to ensure alignment with agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Manage requirement changes through structured change control processes.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of test cases and validation criteria.
• Ensure proper documentation of data definitions, KPI logic, and solution architecture.
• Validate that implemented solutions meet defined business needs and performance expectations.
• Support data governance initiatives including Business Glossary and KPI standardization efforts.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within data demand management and project delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment of all data initiatives with IT strategy and organizational objectives.
• Lead multiple concurrent data projects and ensure timely reporting and project closure.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by line manager and related management.

Technical Competencies:

• Data Warehousing & BI Knowledge: Strong understanding of data models, ETL processes, dashboards, Big Data and reporting frameworks.
• Business Analysis: Ability to translate business requirements into structured technical specifications.
• Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Data Governance: Understanding of KPI standardization, metadata management, and single source of truth principles.
• SQL & Data Analysis: Working knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques.
• Telecom & Enterprise Systems Knowledge: Understanding of telecom data flows (BSS/CRM/OSS/HLR/DPI preferred) and enterprise IT ecosystems.
• Technical and business documentation proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field.
• Experience 6–8 years of experience in IT or telecommunications, with at least 3 years in Data & Analytics project management or business analysis roles
• Certificates PMP (Project Management Professional) | PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner | Agile/Scrum certifications | CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
