Description:

Support design development of Instrumentation and control systems.

Prepare BOM for control systems and select components.

Prepare control panel GA (general arrangement) layout drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic design.

Develop control schematics and I/O lists.

Create P&ID.

Hands on experience with Instrumentation, SCADA, DCS, PLC, HMI, VFD, remote I/Os and various communication protocols.

Develop wiring loops, wiring diagrams and Instrumentation cable list / index list.

Select appropriate Instrumentation and prepare associated data sheets and specifications.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industrial standards (specifically CE, CSA).

Work closely and collaborate with other departments to ensure project requirements are met.

Provide technical support.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in PLC and DCS/SCADA systems.

Strong knowledge of sensors, transmitters, actuators, control valves, and industrial networks.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.

Ability to create P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams.

Proficiency in electrical design software (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, etc.).
