Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic HR Partnership● Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across Egypt-based functions, aligning people strategies with commercial and operational priorities.● Partner with the regional HR leadership and business heads to translate business goals into actionable workforce and talent plans.● Contribute to the design and execution of people roadmap across the region, with a specific focus on Egypt.● Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning● Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to define hiring needs, build pipelines, and ensure the right roles are filled with the right profiles.● Drive workforce planning exercises to anticipate headcount needs in line with businessgrowth and seasonal ecommerce cycles.● Support the onboarding experience to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one.2. Performance & Organizational Effectiveness● Lead performance management cycles — from goal-setting and mid-year reviews to year-end calibrations ensuring consistency and fairness.● Identify organizational design opportunities to improve team effectiveness, agility, and accountability.● Partner with managers to address performance gaps, build capability, and create clear development pathways for their teams.3. Employee Experience & Engagement● Champion a high-performance, inclusive culture that reflects values and the realities of a fast-moving ecommerce business.● Own employee engagement initiatives in Egypt, analyzing feedback, identifying trends, and driving action plans in partnership with leadership.● Act as a trusted point of contact for employees navigating complex workplace situations, ensuring all matters are handled with empathy, fairness, and confidentiality.4. Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations● Ensure all HR practices are compliant with Egyptian labor law, including contracts, benefits administration, and disciplinary processes.● Partner with the Total Rewards team to support compensation benchmarking and ensure pay equity and competitiveness in the local market.● Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to people analytics reporting that informs leadership decision-making.5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management● Build credible, trusted relationships with senior business leaders, acting as a genuine partner rather than a support function.● Influence strategic people conversations with the CPO and leadership team, contributing directly to culture, capability, and retention roadmaps. What You'll Need Experience & Qualification:● 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or senior generalist role, ideally within an ecommerce or high-growth consumer business.● Proven experience partnering with commercial operations teams in a fast-paced environment.● Hands-on experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.● Strong working knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR compliance requirements.● Strong business acumen, able to connect people strategy to commercial outcomes and speak the language of the business.● Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.● Data-savvy; able to use HR metrics and people analytics to drive decisions and tell compelling stories.● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.● Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to operate with autonomy and take ownership.● Empathetic yet commercially sharp; able to balance people advocacy with business realities.
