Role: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Location: Remote
Role Overview:We are hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to design and build the reporting and analytics infrastructure that powers data-driven decisions at Joveo. You will own the data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools that give stakeholders real-time visibility into what matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop semantic data models, data marts, and dimensional schemas- Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Looker, Power BI, or Tableau- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines that feed the reporting layer- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting surfaces- Document data definitions, metrics logic, and dashboard usage guides
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)- Hands-on experience with at least one BI platform (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)- Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools for the modern data stack- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Big Query, Snowflake, or Redshift)- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metric consistency- Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs
