Important Notice: FMCG or Manufacturing Experience ONLY
Daily Operations & Transactional Accounting
- Oversee daily accounting tasks, including processing transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll, and utilities.
- Supervise general ledger functions and ensure proper month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage treasury operations, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle fixed asset activity, debt management, capital asset and trust account reconciliations.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis and provide detailed financial insights.
- Support cost accounting and ensure accurate costing records.
- Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Staff Management
- Supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure department goals and compliance standards are met.
Compliance, Control & Audit
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including year-end audit processes.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and proper documentation of transactions.
Strategic Financial Support
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial recommendations and support strategic planning.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance systems, workflows, and financial accuracy.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA is a plus).
- Proven working experience as Accounting Lead in FMCG or manufacturing
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software (Odoo is a must)
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices,
standards, laws and regulations - High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
