Job Description

Preparing and analyzing product costs

Recording and tracking raw materials and operating hours on production orders

Identifying direct and indirect costs and allocating them to cost centers

Preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports on costs and variances

Collaborating with production, warehouse, and purchasing departments to obtain accurate data

Monitoring inventory costs (raw materials, work in progress, finished goods)

Participating in inventory counts and analyzing results

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
• Experience with accounting software, like ERP
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
