Roles & Responsibilities
What you will need to do:
- Supervised and monitored on-site activities related to instrumentation and communication systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Oversaw the proper installation of field instruments, control panels, switching systems, MCCs, equipment racks, cabling, and conduit routing, in line with approved project drawings and specifications.
- Reviewed and interpreted engineering documents such as P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals to support accurate installation and effective troubleshooting.
- Coordinated and supported pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including loop checks, instrument calibration, signal testing, and functional verification of control systems.
- Prepared and maintained comprehensive site documentation, including Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs), progress updates, red-lined drawings, and final as-built records.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related discipline,
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems for large power projects.
- Fluency in the English language
- Transferable Iqama preferred
