UMQ Company We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Lead to guide and oversee the development of detailed design and construction documentation for interior design projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team of designers through the technical phases of a project, ensuring quality, coordination, and compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed technical and construction drawings for interior design projects.

• Ensure all drawings meet local codes, project specifications, and industry standards.

• Coordinate closely with design team members, site engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

• Review and support the development of shop drawings, technical submittals, and project documentation.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Ensure the integration of design intent with buildability throughout all technical stages.

• Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical packages.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical design and interior fit-out documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledgeable of local and international building codes.
• Strong in construction detailing, material specifications and project coordination
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and leadership communication skills.
