Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the supply chain logistics for flowers, including sourcing, procurement, transportation, and distribution.

Develop and maintain relationships with flower growers, suppliers, and distributors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of flowers.

Coordinate the shipping and handling of flowers, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for transportation.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to flower shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation. Generate reports on logistics performance.

Identify and resolve logistics issues promptly to minimize disruptions in flower supply. Implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to flower logistics, including phytosanitary requirements and international trade regulations

Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to optimize transportation, storage, and distribution expenses while maintaining quality standards.

Supervise and lead a team of drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.

Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
